The Story Behind Pi Academy

From an IOE Ranker to Building Nepal’s Growing EdTech Vision:

In 2069 B.S., a young engineering aspirant cracked the IOE Entrance examination and secured the 48th rank among thousands of students across Nepal.
That achievement opened the doors to engineering, leadership, and eventually a much larger mission — transforming education itself.

Today, that journey continues through Pi Academy, a growing educational and edtech platform committed to quality learning, affordable education, and student success.

The Beginning of the Journey :

My academic journey began with a strong passion for Mathematics, problem-solving, and engineering. After successfully securing the 48th rank in the IOE Entrance examination, I chose Mechanical Engineering — a discipline that shaped my analytical thinking, discipline, and leadership abilities.

But during my engineering journey, I discovered something even more meaningful than solving equations:

Helping students achieve their dreams.

For more than 10 years, I have been teaching Mathematics and mentoring students preparing for:

NEB Grade 11 & 12

Throughout this journey, I have had the privilege of helping thousands of students secure admissions in prestigious engineering and technology institutions across Nepal.

Why “Pi Academy”?

The name Pi Academy carries deep meaning and emotion.

The name was personally coined by me, inspired by the mathematical symbol π (Pi) — a symbol of infinity, precision, logic, curiosity, and endless learning.

Pi Academy also connects with several powerful inspirations:

Globally celebrated as Pi Day, it is associated with two legendary scientific minds:

The birthday of Albert Einstein — symbolizing curiosity, imagination, and genius.
The passing day of Stephen Hawking — symbolizing resilience, courage, and determination despite immense challenges.
